2016/17 has proven to be a successful and rewarding year as well as one of positive change and growth.
We continued to deliver creative arts solutions that addressed social issues in the communities of Cherbourg, Woorabinda, Hopevale and Logan, as well as creative and cultural workshops and activities in Wondai, Victoria Point, Ipswich, Kingaroy and Cooktown.
General Manager's Message
Through our creative services arm, we also engaged with many inspiring people and organisations on a national and international level and delivered many creative design outcomes to meet the needs of our clients as well as helping them to support and strengthen the value that they provide to their customers.
Overall, we are very proud to report that 98% of our program participants, event attendees and creative clients, rated Human’s service as good or excellent throughout the year which is a fantastic result based on solid relationships and delivery of exceptional creative outcomes.
This annual report is the first for Human and we hope it further supports our stakeholders’ understanding of the importance of Human’s operations and programs and the significant outcomes and impacts that have been achieved.
Looking forward, Human has an exciting year ahead. 2018 will start with:
Continued delivery of existing program work in our current regional and remote Qld communities, as well as expanding Creative Tracks to deliver workshops, activities and events in a new community
Working with communities and funders to develop new national creative arts programs
Human would like to thank the many organisations who have supported us this year. Just to name a few...
This year we continued to work closely with communities and partners to deliver positive social outcomes. We have also had the opportunity to work with some incredible clients on projects that have taken us around the world.

As a new board member I have been so encouraged to witness the tangible, ongoing and powerful impact our programs have on the lives of so many young people.
A re-launch of Human’s brand and communication activities, and
A continued focus on growing Human’s creative design client base in order to further subsidise Human’s operations and ongoing delivery of regional and remote community programs.
I would like to thank the many organisations that Human has had the opportunity to build such strong and supportive relationships with. Of course we are not able to acknowledge every organisation however the Board, the staff and all supporters of Human are very grateful for everyone’s ongoing support.
Further, I would like to thank the staff, arts workers and volunteers who have worked so diligently to assist so many young people, communities and organisations to deliver the many positive and creative outcomes over the period.
